A pre-lube is when you loosen the sump bung and oil filter and drive around the block to get the oil hot if you make it back home, take the bung out and watch the bearings fall out, don't forget the new oil filter

A prelude is made by Honda

oh... so back to the question.
the lude would win...
it would kill a gs.
gst would be harder.
but it is feasible. but... what gen perlube you runnin against???
is it in that special edition "oil" color?

If it's the GST vs lude. Hands down to the Eclipse 0-60 in 6.5 sec is faster than the ludes, but it all depends on the driver

Talking '97 Talon Tsi AWD vs. '00 Prelude SH

My '97 Talon Tsi AWD, even having the weight panalty of AWD, had no problem beating a 2K 'Lude last summer. In a two block rolling-start race (i.e., neither one of us spun tires or burnt clutch) I had him by a full car length--and he was giving it his all cuz I could hear his motor approaching redline in his 1-2 shift.

I'd put my 0-60 time about .3-.5 sec better than a new 'Lude. If you put a GST (without AWD) vs any stock Honda shy of a S2000 you'll have no prob. :finger:

BTW, I'm a big VTEC fan and may even step into a S2000 if the 350Z doesn't appear by next summer!

Cheers!

That's the way to bring back a dead thread. Too bad the question got answered two years later.
