What engine is in a 93 Civic? Can I use it?

I found a 93 Civic that was hit from the front for $300. What engine is in the 93 Civic's? Would it be a good deal for $300?

it would only be a good deal if it wa an si.......cause otherwise your just buying a d15

exactly... no matter what, the engine will work... but the ex/si are the only models that are worthwhile... they have the d16z6..
