Exclamation Battery Help!!!!!!!!!!!

hello

i need help!!! i had some dumb mechanic replace a dead battery in my
91 Ford Escort LX A-tranny(US) and what happened is he connected it
wrong... + to batt - and - to batt + and from what my frined told me
who was there at that time the main fuse got blown. when he couldn't
find the right one he put a much bigger one and the he did it
again!!!he connected the battery wrong AGAIN !!! then someone told
him that he's doing it wrong so then he connected the batt (Finally)
the right way... but something was wrong... the main fuse wasn't
blown by his second try to connect the battery but now when he got
the batt connected right nothing had power...except for the
headlights.. not even parking lights were working, no automatic
seatbelts, no dome lights...NOTHING! now i have a problem cause he
denied that that it was his fault and i'm stuck with a broken car.
please help me figure out what's wrong. i checked all other fuses
inside and under the hood and the only fuse that is blown is the
main fuse. (i got rid of the fuse he put cause it was too big)
PLEASE HELP MEEEE! where i live there r like 3 shops ops 2 cuz one
now i know sucks... PLEASE EMAIL WITH WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW TO FIX
THIS ELECTRICAL PROBLEM !!!!!!!
