Your Pointers on what to look for when buying a tranny off the street
Ya so im going on saturday, i think by myself to frisco to buy my b18 cable tranny, this guys seems legit but you never never know, so besides making sure the tranny code is correct, which i dont remember what it is off the top of my head so if anyone does feel free to throw it in
but besides checking that what else should i look for before throwing down the cash, it is supposed to be in good condition with no probs. any suggestions????

if the tranny is dirt cheap 90% chance it is stolen
and if you have a stolen part on your car and cops check it your fucked

No shiat... And if the tranny is stolen all you have to do is peal off the little sticker with the #'s on it...
But if I were buying a tranny off some random dude I would make sure I knew were he lived... That way if it turned out to be shiat I would feel justified carjacking the punkass and taking my moneys worth out of dudes car... But hey, thats just me.

To really check it out you would need to open it up or install/test drive. Fly me out there, I'll go with ya
How much is dude selling it for? I got a rebuilt tranny for my Si - $300 with warranty.

its a b18 cable tranny for 400 in good condition i know the dudes phone number and address and ive been talking to him for a while, im getting it from his house so i will know where the lives
im going by myself though oh and i forget the dudes name why do u ask haven?man im hella pissed though, i think i got ripped off on ebay from some dude. he had no negative feedback so i thought it was safe to buy from him. at least it didnt cost a lot only $32 but somehow i dont know if it was paypals fault or he pulled some trick but i was charged twice for this item i bought, what the fuck i told dude if he doesnt get back to me im doing everything i possibly can to fuck him over cuz hes not responding
