E-brake light, won't go off!

This sounds pretty dumb, but my e-brake light will not go off. Any ideas why?

top off the brake fluid level under the hood. It will go out.

it also indicates that your brake pads are low.

You could also try pullin' the plastic cover that's around the e-brake, and make sure that connector is still plugged in.

make sure that the plugs that go to the m/c are still plugged in
