can i get a hood scoop on my 03' 2.5?help!?

hey guys
my dad backed in to my 2003 2.5 rs and now i have to get a new hood. Do you guys know anywayi could get one with a hood scoop and what would work. The shop said the WRX one wouldnt! NE IDEAS!??

Did the shop give you a reason why the WRX hood wouldn't work?

I have seen a couple of 2.5's with a WRX hood fitted and there didn't appear to be any issues.

You may want to blank off below the scoop though, like it is on the pre-2001 2.5RS to keep excessive debris heading into the top of your engine (I know the intercooler gets to see the debris, but why let it in there when you don't have to?)

A WRX hood will work. Look at my signature. That's a 2.5 with a carbon fiber hood meant for a WRX and an OEM WRX scoop. Direct bolt on. The only difference is the WRX hood is aluminum and the RS/TS hood is stell, which just means there is even more weight savings putting a CF hood on an RS than on a WRX. And obviously the scoop. The bolt holes even line up, it's an exact match.

I'd go to a different body shop

Whoops, you can't see my hood since I changed my sig. Here's a pic
