Question Civic/Accord/Prelude... which is best stock? non-biased please

I'm 90% sure I'm going to buy a 95 vtec prelude, but one of my classmates says she has a 98 V6 vtec accord that she races and that it's far better than a vtec prelude...

I'm still in high school so I can't afford a nice 98 accord (at least one thats not wrecked or has a billion miles on it). 4th gen vtec preludes only cost about 5-6k stock around here, but is there an accord or civic model that has better 1/4 mile times and costs about the same? stock of course.

thanks!

hey bro check this out, most of the preludes an accords have the same engine in them, my friend has a 92 i think an i thought he was all cool n shit cuz he had some coo engine but turns out he has the same exact engine that i have in my accord, but check this out if you are low on cash, dont get a prelude, one there sports car, so they will be more expensive when u buy them plus ur insurance will only see sports car so itll be jacked up, my opinion, get an accord

get the prelude vtec.

the accord and the BASE model prelude share the same motor. comparing the prelude vtec to the same year accord ex is no contest. the prelude vtec will run w/ gsr's and si's (should beat the si).

the only way the 98 accord is better is the interior. its a FAMILY car, and its supposed to be more cushy on the inside, but other than that, the prelude vtec would own it. it'll beat the V6 in a straight line (stock vs stock), and it'll destroy it on the corners.

the prelude vtec is a great car man, i say go for that w/ out a doubt.
