Finished (some time ago) : Ferrari 250 GTO (1/24 Gunze Sangyo High Tech)

I made some pics today of a kit that I built about 10 years ago, to show somewhere in another topic, but I might as well give everyone else the chance to look at them. It is NOT an easy kit to build, but when it is completed, you get a nice piece of museum art

Now that I look at the pictures, I see that I should probably have dusted off the model before taking them... Oh well, you get the general idea

Great work, just started the progress report on mine, unfortunately mine has no engine as I haven't found one of those yet and they sell for 3 times the price.

Thumbs up

An excellent job on one of the most beautiful Ferraris of all times!! You wouldn't happen to have a model of the notchback version of this car would you? I had a diecast a long time ago but it was lost.

Tonioseven, do you mean the '64 250 GTO?
Then, you need to get a Mini Exotics Transkit from R&D Unique

http://www.rndunique.com/rnd_displayitem.cfm?pk=222

plus any 250 GTO base kit (Italeri, Revell or Protar) and off you go!

Beautiful.
Love that wild exhaust.
The front tyres sure were skinny.

No, I think he means the Ferrari "breadvan", which wasn't really a 250 GTO but a rebuilt 250 GT SWB by Drogo. He thought that the bodywork would have better aerodynamic characteristics this way.

No prob, same thing with the "Breadvan"!
Get a resin transkit from R&D Unique and add a GTO kit as a base.

http://www.rndunique.com/rnd_displayitem.cfm?pk=238

They do 3 different transkits, the '64 GTO, the Breadvan and the 330LMB!

All the best, Marc
