Camber Adjustment
I've got a 97' civic hatchback and i want to lower it the correct way, i.e., no sleeve over coil-overs or cutting the springs. I had my mind set on an eibach prokit and tokico illumina struts/shocks, but my dad keeps tellin me that lowering my car in any way will require the use of camber, castor, and toe adjustment. Is this really neccessary with the inch and a third or so that i'm lowering my car?

You should only need a camber kit when lowering more than 2". After the install of spring/shocks you should have an alignment done by somebody who deals with lowered car. Camber cant be adjusted without an aftermarket kit.
I love my Pro-kit w/ AGX's, but if all goes as planned I'm switching to fully adjustable coilovers. |
