electrical glue? loose connection to speaker.

Recently i've been hearing my right rear speaker come on then off like every second resulting in either some nasty static or complete all together failure. Figuring it was a loose connection i checked everywhere and found the source of the problem. One of two things done to my car before i bought it was the addition of an amp and sub located on the back of the back seat with the sub in the trunk. Through receipts and stuff i found out that it was all bought and installed at GoodGuys so it wasn't a crappy job. I have since added a smaller amp to power the rear speakers. The main connection i guess is still on the larger amp and out of it comes some monster cables which lead to a small black box labeled L and R. And i think this box only controls the rear speakers because there's another small box that has two connections and i forget right now but i think that's only for the front, I could be wrong about all these connections and what leads where, but basically one of the monster cables isn't connecting to this box. It's very sensitive and if it's moved at all, the speaker will only get a little connection or lose it altogether. I can push it all the way in or move it around and it still appears to look fine, but i guess something's not catching. I've tried electrical tape but because of the way the stuff connects, it won't hold all the time, and when i do think it will hold, i'll hit a bump and it will come loose under the tape. What can i do?

try taking the rca cables out, the ones with a pin in the middle and some thin pieces of metal around it that form a circle. Push the outside metals pieces just a little in and try reseating into the amp. When you get them tight, the noise should stop.
