So Circuit City installed a new JVC stereo in my '96 Cavalier, they have installed it wrong once already, forgetting to plug a cable in for the iPod adapter. I installed new speakers in the rear when I noticed the rear right speaker wasn't producing any sound. When I hooked my volt and amp meter to the connection I wasn't getting any power. I removed the stereo and it looks like all the wires are plugged in correctly, but I'm not 100% sure. I pulled out the interior plastic following the speaker cable and it appears to be intact...what else could cause this problem?
Thanks, Douglas |

Re: No Power to Rear Right Speaker In '96 Cavalier
its shorted idk i usually switch wires around till i findwhat works and thats just me with my redneck 12"pioneers. =] but maybe try testing the line further up...like that or test it at the power source to make sure nothing is shorted in your amp/head unit.
