MPFI wiring

Hi,

Instead of having to move the pins like B2 to B10 I just took the SI ecu harness out of the car and cut it.
Arent the wires already placed in the correct pins?
So they are already moved right, I can jsut color match the wires and plug it into my ECU?

Thanks

i dont think its a good idea, i mean u only gotta change aroudn a few wires, its gonna be alot more a hassle to reconnect all those wires, then to just change like 10 wires. what i did was use those male/female connectors on the wires so i could easily just unplug it and switch it back if i need. good thing i did that too because now that my ls is all fucked up i gotta go back to my d15

Well it will work correct?
because I do not wanna solder all the wires from the SI harness and have to move them around anyways.
By looking at the diagram it looks like the pins were already moved for the SI harness on the ECU.
Thanks

Im definetly gonna try it.
Last time I tried moving pin B2 and plugging it into B10 I ended up gettin soo frustrated I broke the harness with a screwdriver and got it out that way, lol.
I ended up cuttin all the wires to harness B anyways.
So I looked at the diagram on fourthgenhatche's site and it looks like the harness is already premoved for the SI.
B2 is an orange wire on the DX model, correct?
Well, its already moved to B10 on the SI harness.
Also, B11 is where its supposed to be.
Ill try it and see if it works.
Thanks

yeah the si harness is already wired for mpfi, but your gona spend more time soldering all hte wires back together when all u had to do was move a few wires. i just cut it up about 1 and 1/2 and put a female connector on the conector side, then put a male on the wire side, then with the wire i ran to it, i just put another male connector on it. and then the other wire i first cut with the male connector, i put another female connector on the connector side so the wire was just plug and play. i did that for all of them so all it did was take me about half hour to do it. and i just got a pin from B2 i think it was that had a free pin so i just stuck it in B10 or B12 which ever one didnt have a wire on it. alot easier than soldering every wire
