99 civic swap question!!!!!!!HELP PLEASE

hello everyone i have a question my friend has a 93 civic dx and he has a 94 b16a jdm i want to buy it from him but i need to know will it work on my car and what would i need to make it work since my car is OBD2 and his is obd1 would the wiring harness's be different would i need another one? also what about the ecu and stuff can someone get back to me and tell me everything i would need to make this engine work on my car... i have a 99 ex civic thanks

i think the only thing you really need to do to get it to work on your car is to get a obd2 distributor and odb2 injectors. then all you have to do is use the ex harness. you don't need to run the vtec wires. only thing you need to hook up is the knock sensor(1 wire) and you might need to wire up the evap purge solenoid(i think this is what its called) also. or i'm thinking maybe you can get a obd1 ex complete harness(engine and ecu harness) and a p30 ecu(obd1) and just convert your car to obd1. this way you have to change your injectors or dist. either way you go you will have to wire the knock sensor and some of the mounts will not work. also you will need the shift linkage and axles from a 99-00 si, 94-01 integra or a 94-97 del sol(dohc vtec) if you don't have it already. i think that pretty much covers it unless someone else can add in something that i'm missing or i made a mistake. good luck with your swap.
