Question 84 carb to 87 fuel injection swap

i got an '84 honda prelude for christmas that didnt run, i was told that the carb was the problem so i swapped the carb and now its runs, but it only fires on 2 pistons and smokes really badly. Either the head or the block is warped. Im thinking about swapping the whole engine out for a fuel injected 2.0L si engine but i want to hear from somebody who has made the switch from carb to fuel injection to learn what all is involved.
Thanks for the help.

Oh boy, you can, but you're going to have to get the WHOLE wiring harness from the ECU to the motor, then wire it all into your car. That is not going to be fun.
