A question of horspower

Hey All,

I am curious about horsepower in my own car. I just bought a convert 94 gt from a buddy of mine a few months ago and am wondering where I am in terms of horsepower, and maybe some suggestions for me. My friends took pretty good care of this car and sold it to me with 104,000 miles on it. He did alot in terms of appearance and few in performance. Since I am relatively new to mustangs, and working on cars in general, Im curious what I should do next. I know, bone stock, the 94 had about 215 horses. Since then a ford 65mm throttle body has been added, borla side fire exhaust, k&n filter, and a chip. Although I do not know what kind it is. With this limited information can anyone give me a guestimation as to where I might be? Any information would help.

Maybe 230, as long as you're still getting good compression and no blowby.

Maybe even 240, but you won't feel it. Convertibles are boats, compared in weight.

I would say at the most 230-240, and even then it's questionable.
-Chip worthless unless heavily modified
-K&N 1-3 hp
-Cat back exhaust 10 hp
-65mm TB 5 hp
Total 18 hp +/- a couple horses.
You didn't say anything about headers or h-pipe, so without those aftermarket mods, your still really restricting yourself.

Thanks to everyone who has replied. I know that the headers are still stock and am unsure of any kind of x/h pipe. Would you recomend headers and h pipe as my next mod? What are the differences between going with an x or h pipe? Thanks in advance.
