Ummmm those numbers don't add up. It takes me 4.2 secs to get to 60mph and I do the 1/4 in flat 12's. Maybe it is a typo because at that acceleration rate it should be more like a 9.9

Maybe its 0-60 feet in 3.3 and not 60mph. That would be a bit more reasonable.

Well, Subaru's are known for dropping off on the top end (those damn tall 4th and 5th gears) so maybe that's where the difference is?

Not necessarily...The Porsche in Mischief 3k runs like a 0-60 in 3.6 and a quarter in like 11.9 or something like that if I'm not mistaken. Acceleration decreases as you rise through the gears. You trade torque(acceleration) for top speed. Know what I'm sayin? You don't accelerate as fast in 5th as you do in 2nd. And plus, the AWD has to be a powersucker up top

Maybe Self but hell I've seen enough subbies running on the strip, and open road to know when they run out of legs. There isn't much in it in the initial launch between my R and an WRX and the 60 foot times are pretty close, usually I am a bit quicker but over the 1/4 he will run say a 12.8 and I am 12.2. They don't run out of legs in that span of time. Usually that happens above 200kph when their close ratios run out. For a subbie to be in the mid 12's it takes a fair bit of mods. At least here on our shit track. Most with exhaust, filter, front mount, ecu, will do high 12's to low 13's. Without the ecu work mid 13's. Bigger turbo will put them into the low 12's to mid 12's. They seem to hit a wall about there.

hmm...
it's feasible.

these are numbers from the enzo...

" Maximum speed 217,5 mph *

0-62 mph 3,65 s

0-400 m 11 s

0-1,000 m 19,6 s "

i believe that 400m is just under a 1/4 mile, correct?

and we all know that the enzo has dipped into the low 3's for 0-60 per magazine testing.

so, if you run 3.3 0-60 and a mid 11 or so 1/4, you're times are about right.

find out what that red 10 second wrx runs to 60 in, and then you can compare...

Oh no, I'm agreeing with you. I was just saying that it's possible to run a sub-4 0-60 and a quarter in 11 seconds.

yea, gtr, 11 sec cars are usually in the 3's 0-60. the top end doesnt increase much, but launch times are.

and it's not 60 ft... that would blow, i did 2.8 in my auto 240 and i thought that sucked bigtime.
