If you have any asperartions to even think about going fast dont get the 2.0 GTS.

If you want a skyline purly for the looks then ok, but spending any time or money on performance parts will be a waste.

If you want one for its performance, then at least look at a GTS25, but you really need a GTS25t if you dont want to be embarrased by Hatchbacks.

Yes you aiming quite high for 10K in an R33. First off the GTS25 will never out perform a turbo model full stop. You are already 50kw down at the word go and to make that up will cost you more than it would to increase a turbo another 50kw.

for 10K get a GTS-t or GTS4 R32.

Definatly go the r-32 way, lighter car better looking (in my opinion anyway) and with $10k you can pick up a mint turbo one, unmodified, 5 spd. take note, my r-32 gts 2ltr, is comfortably faster than a std r-33 2.5.

God- Skylines for $10k????? They are all either RB20 powered or Automatic- neither one merits any particular praise for performace- Straight six wieght with I4 displacement- fun Save up a little longer for a GTS25 or GTS25t- much nicer cars

That may be so, but a mildly tickled GTS25 will take out most std R32 GTSt's, I have been in one that will prove that also. And the R33 GTS25 will out handle the R32 GTSt because of the longer wheel base, once again..... driven both.......
