Fastest and Best I can get for under $13k

engine? body choice? mods? any help greatly appreciated...just tryin to piece apart the best option for my $13 total budget...this will be mainly for race, bending of emissions laws and whatnot to be disregarded(my family bypasses it ) so give me some ideas.

but anyway, the easiest way (at least from what i know) to make all cars create more power is simple: you want to make your car burn more fuel. turbos, superchargers recycle fuel into the engine to do that. intakes and nitros create more oxygen for fuel to ignite. so if you think along those lines, you'll get the best results.

I went through thousands of websites couple of years back looking for the best platform to build on. I thought the 300ZX was the best cuz I wanted a rear wheel drive, I thought the 240 was front wheel cuz of the Mazda MX6.
Flat out the best platform is the 240SX (try getting the SE). They are the lightest rear wheel drive cars, have room in the hood for engine upgrades, can swap parts of other models easy like big brake from the 300ZX and Skyline (Thanks Nissan), you can find one on Auto trader for $3000, and also one of the best handling cars on the road today. 240 is hands down the best project car you can buy on a limited bugjet.

you could go to Motorex and throw down 13 grand on an R32GTR, it may be stock for awhile when your looking for people to sell organs to to pay it off but its a stock car that could downright P-Own a 240 with 13 Grand in it.
