F22b / H22

Okay, got $$$ saved to swap an H22 into my 92 Dx Coupe. I went last Friday to look at what was supposed to be a Prelude Vtec swap from a local Honda junk yard. A few small things concerned me about the motor, but the price was right. Before I left, I checked the block code only to find it was in fact an F22b. The head on the motor was new, and it was definitaly a Prelude Vtec valve cover. I do not remember if it had a Vtec solenoid on the side. In my understanding an H series head will not work with an F series block. Does the Vtec valve cover fit onto a twin cam F22b? Is this guy trying to bend me over??? If i'm going to go thru with this swap, I don't want some half assed hybrid block combo.

Thanks for any info you may have on this subject.
