moding my RSX type S

hey i just got a new 2002 RSX type S and was wondering the best way to mod it. i got new enkei Bortex RPM2 17' rims and nitto racing wheels, spoiler, pin stripe, tint, and fog lights. So i dont need anymore body parts. Just something to enhance the performance. Not really lookin for a turbo or super charge but some thing like a intake, maybe ehaust, ect... I know some about the injen CAI, AEM V2, AEM CAI, and some more, but i want to talk to someone who actually has one of these in their RSX or that can back up one of these up. Also in the exhaust im lookin for performance that doesn't sound retarted when you rev it up. Dont want it to be too loud. So anyone that can help me please reply and give me some advice.

I dont know, i just think the more power the better. I want a fast car that doesn't seem rice-rockety. i know that the RSX already has a lot of power but if i could get some more power for not too much more money then i want to go for that

My friend has a DC Sports CAI on his Type S and it's perfect. It sounds like stock until you hit 4000 RPM, then it sounds like an F1 car! Also, Sport Compact Car tested the RSX intakes and it made almost 20hp at the wheels and was much easier to install than the AEM.

My friend as the AEM intake, and greddy evo exhaust, and the car is relatively quiet up to 5000+ rpms, and then it gets pretty loud, but i can't think of a better sounding 4cl. The evo exhaust has a very nice sound to it, and the intake sounds pretty mean as well. Both are great products and IF you are willing to fork out the extra money for the brand names spend your money on both of these, you will not be dissapointed.

Re: moding my RSX type S

Intake: W/e you like the best.
Exhaust: All I can say is STRAIGHT PIPE!

How much does the DC sports CAI cost? Are they a good buy?

Dispite what others are sayin, this is ur best bet what this guy said. All i want to add is that magnaflow's catback exhaust is really really good, and i can back it up, cause i put it on my car, and that was the only upgrade at the time and it freed up 7whp, dyno proven. I didn't need the dyno to know that i gained some hp cause i felt it. The tip is a big aggrssive, but the sound is beautiful...i hate loud as exhaust so i did the research finding this one, it performs and its not loud.
