Question Escort won't start

1986 Escort 1.9 L engine cranks well ,timing light shows spark at TDC, starting fluid sprayed in 2 bbl carburetor- doesn't fire. What's wrong? What else can I try?

Looks like you may not have spark and that could be due to a bad coil/module. Check all the fuses first. Good Luck.
