Head Swapping Query...
Okay, I know quite a bit about civics, honda engines, etc. but there's one thing I haven't heard of, and maybe with good reason. Is there anyway to swap a SOHC VTEC engine head with a DOHC VTEC head. I remember reading somewhere that a USDM SOHC d16 engine could have a head transplant from a JDM ZC (d16) DOHC engine, but I was more interested in a B-series head swap. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Head Swapping Query...
I've never heard of the zc head swap, and not sure if that's possible. But as far as B-Series DOHC onto D-Series SOHC block, No. It won't work, nothing matches up.

you can swap a b-series head on a b-series block, but it wouldn't match up with a d-series block because d-series is single cam, and b-series is dual cam.
