1999 wrx sti engine

where can I get a 1999 subaru wrx engine or will the newer wrx engines fit?

Should fit another WRX?

will it fit a 92-94 imreza or is it just 95 and up? I'm new with this subaru thing

it should fit although you MAY need to fabricate new mounts for it which can be a bit costly. unless your doing a drop in replacment the engine is ushualy only about half the cost of swapping.

the compartment isnt verry tight you should be able to go with a larger engine even if you so desired but then you are definatly talking increased swap beacouse that more aftermarket parts are required

I have 2 type of suby engines for swaps
EJ20 Boxer 4 $2600+s/h
EJ20K $1700+s/h
I can also get a EJ207 i just need sometime and the price is base on miles.

hey evo racer want to chase down an engine for me ill make it worth your time if you can find it.

im looking for a jz33 engine with or without the tranny miles arent realy important

Give me some time and a email adress and i will find it aspa. not quite sure what to look for other then a engine code. sorry for the ingorance but there are so many japanese engines codes im bound to forget some. so some more info would be great. i will contact my dealer in japan see what he can do drop an email with by me and all the info you got. and i will get back to you ASAP.
