I was just wondering if I would be able to use a ZEX nitrous system in my 88 Civic DX after I swap in a Dohc ZC engine? My DX has an auto tranny and is in pretty good shape. I will have the tranny rebuilt after I get the ZC. It will be rebuilt so that it will be like new. I plan on getting a tranny cooler and possibly a torque convertor. Is it safe enough to use a 55 shot? I know that the automatic TRUST CRX uses a 75 shot and is turbo charged too!

It sounds safe to me a stock DOHC ZC should take a 55 hit no prob.

Your stock internals should be able to take a 55 shot. A 75 shot however; is pushing it. |
