what is the ratio you mix paint with thinner? I was mixing 1/10 thinner and 9/10 paint but I have been getting Orange peel. Thanks BaNe

Because your paint is too thick, I don't know the exact ratio I mix at as I have developed a good 'feel' for what will spray well, but your ratio is leaving your paint to thick!
Try 50/50 or something, you want the paint to look around the consistency of milk for spraying.... Ray

No hard fast ratio. You want the consistancy of skim milk. I usually go about 40% thinner. I also use denatured alcohol as a thinner for Tamiya paints. You can also use Windex.
