Got some aftermarket Cam specs.
These specs are good for either KA24DE or SR20DE engine
If you need more info about this, or a parts list, etc, please let me know! Street: Power band 22oo-6ooo RPM Fast Idle, power over 7ooo RPM Good for Turbo engines. Intake: 22/58 Exhaust: 60/20 Duration: 260 Lift: .364" Also Needed: Springs & Retainers Street/Strip: Power band 28oo-68oo RPM Rough Idle, power over 78oo RPM Intake: 26/64 Exhaust: 66/24 Duration: 270 Lift: .388" Also Needed: Springs & Retainers 11:1 Compression Aluminum Flywheel RaCE: Peak Power Band 34oo-8ooo RPM Pukey Idle, power over 88oo RPM Intake: 30/82 Exhaust: 78/30 Duration: 288 Lift: .398" Also Needed: Springs & Retainers 13:1 or 14:1 Compression Aluminum Flywheel Titanium Rods Copper Head gasket modified cylinder head. |

how hard is it to install cams...i've never really opened up an engine before to check it out..besides when i was helping my dad with is Jeep C10 or what ever it was

not too bad,
depending on what cam you goto it may be easier to take the whole head off.. I would like to find a donor engine for my 240. I want to port and polish the intake ports, 3-angle valve job... titanium valves, new springs, aluminum retainers and rods.. Copper head gasket... In all I'll have around $1K in the head... about the same as a budget turbo kit, more power band, and no turbo Lag.. Should be around 220 rwhp.... using the street/strip cam. |
