Cool If you had all the $ you needed...

Does anybody ever think, man if I had a million dollars for my car....?
Well, of course you do. I would like to know what any one of you would do (in detail) if they had all the money that they needed to deck out their car to their desire. Not buy a new one, just deck out what they got. For starters I would take all of the sheet metal off of my car and replace it with purple kevlar/carbon fiber mix material so it would be lightweight/strong and aesthetically pure and beautiful. Just to get you guys thinking. Tell me straight up though if this is a lame thread. Peace.

well.....WRX STi (USDM), with Prodrive ATD (automatic/active torque distribrution), JDM Gear ratios....upgrade turbo, 400bhp at the crank. upgrade suspension......

Add some JDM areodynamics.....maybe some 18's for show and 17" forged wheels for track...

Other than that....Ferrari 575M Maranello...

For a million bucks one could have some fun over-engineering a car.

Say, have forged-titanium control arms for the suspension made, carbon-fiber halfshafts, etc. Have someone "bueeprint" or match to specification every part from wheel bearings to oil pumps.

Replace every fastener in the car with aviation-grade bolts.

Evenutally have a "perfect" whatever it is you drive.

OTOH, at this level of sophisication, I wouldn't be surprised that $1,000,000 isn't enough.

I would drop a twin turbo B-4 engine in to my bay and put in a new exhaust sytem. I would get racing seats with custom purple suede matching interior. Of course wheels and tires. Maybe talk to a tire manufacturer to get my name molded on the sidewalls or integrated in the tread. Hmmm...

I would be the proud owner of a Subaru Justy that revs to 15000, makes 350hp with the help of twin bb turbos... and gives F1 cars a run for their money... ha ha... maybe just CART cars

I'd have to follow your idea and have a pure carbon fibre car!
My car's a mini, and I'd chuck a 13B twin-turbo in the front, and another in the back for good measure!! 250Bhp + 250Bhp + car which weighs F-all = Quick!!

I would die a happy woman if I had a mil to invest in my car...I'd have the fastest damn GTP on the road.

Hell, I'd be happy with about 3k to invest in it!!

I'd get a killer paint job, I'd have performance -everything-, I'd have an engine that would take a lot to blow up...god...no way could i list everything!

to supe up my car more than i allready am lets see. for 1 million dollars. # 1 complete custom body pannels. id get my VX2000 racing seats re covered with red suede. get a microfyber covering for my dash/doors/roof/rear seat. have a custom engine cast 8 cilinder horozontaly opposed 3.5L engine(small pistons) twin turbos, custom 7 speed transmission, custom exaust thats super high flow and extremly quiet cus then people dont see the desimation comming. liquid oxygen system. by this i mean a 40 gallon tank in the trunk of pure oxygen to use instead of a normal air intake. the engine would also be phase cooled and run like 2 alternators pumping down 175 amps each to make sure that nothing has any power issues. maximum rev speed would be like 10,000
