Question If you won a million dollars ....
what would you do?

I know a million is not that much compared to say 10 million & up. That is the challenging part; It's not enough to be filthy rich ...

Personally, I would pay off all my debts and work when I want too not when I have too.

Pay off debts, buy 3000gt VR4, Eclipse GSX 2nd gen and Evo 8 and then I will create a garage and such a garage that aall will be envious

I'd buy a really nice house on a lot of land with an enormous garage. Then toys to fill the garage, and a plasma TV or 5, and save the rest...if there's any left.

Alright, I'd buy a nice house (300,000) and then I'd buy a skyline, fully modded (150,000) and a cessna 182(150,000), a Lamborghini Diablo (150,000) and put the rest in the bank.

There are a lot of people here with more money then I have (and I lied a bit, I'm just short of a million without counting equity). No handouts from me. Only charities and government enforced donations (taxes) get the money for nothing.

I'm not sure what you mean by asset class.... I work full time and while I make more then the median income, I'm not in the top tax bracket by any means. My wife and I are just really good at saving money and I'm really good at predicting market trends and spotting good investments. If anyone paid attention to the things I've suggested as investments and sold when I said it was a good idea - everyoneone would have (at minimum) trippled whatever they committed.

I may be little more then a software developer, but I'm cocky enough to know I'm good at other things too.

I meant equities, bonds, etc...

I never see any investment threads in the Pol & Inv't forum, guess i should go in there more often. Sounds like you're doing well, do you use any trading software?
