Question Need Help Brake Lines...

So I'm in the market for some stainless steel break lines... I think.

I've been reading a lot of Sport Compact Car and have noticed that on all their project cars this seems to be one of the first things they do. I assume b.c its a metal line, there's less bulge when you brake and so you get better braking response and pressure, but I'm not sure on this. Also I don't know jack about brands, can one really be that much better than the other?

So here are my questions: what difference will they make? and what brands are reputable for these things?
