alritey, first of all, insurance for the 91 is gnna b a lil cheaper than 120 a month, so maybe around 100? Depeends what kinda "SAFETY FEATURES" you've got, or added. Adding racing seats increases safety, so they drop insurance a lil. If u were a good boy in skoo, they drop sum too. Depends on different factors of ur life, but its probably gnna b around 100.

As for radars and Lasers, don't get the aftermarket things. i've tried a few, and they only give like, one second to slow down b4 you see the cop. Go with ValentineOne radars and lasers. I've had that one for over a year now, and no tickets. It gives u +10 seconds to slow ur ass down, so its REALLY dependable. There are also some that are illegal in CA, but just do a lil research on K-band and X-band signals, so u can decipher cops from truckers.

FYI - you could actually build yourself a jammer, costs cheap, but if ur busted, its ur ass man... Its just the risk you take. Works VERY well

I was a good boy in highschool, I was close to that 3.0 marker (close but no cigar). Thanks for the heads up on the Radar... The cheepest ive found in Washington for insurance is 214 a month, I gotta take what i can get untill i find a better one... I think you will understand buying your first car or sports car is like your first sexual encounter. You have to have it! thanks

doesn't matter if it's turbo or na, your insurance will still be steep especially if you are under 25. considering the fact that it's a true sportscar(2 seater)..that alone will syrock your rate. be prepared if you get one with ttops, that will be an additional. then again, the car is awesome!!! you just have to sacrifice. financial-wise that is.

Geez, you guys are pretty lucky with insurance. When I tried to get a quote for my imported 94 turbo, they just laughed (I'm 18), and I didn't even tell them about the mods yet.

Full coverage...209.04 for six months coverage through State Farm.

I am a young 37....I have had the car since I was 24.....It was never that expensive from what I remember. I do know...that when I shopped around...several companies told me that they would not even insure that car.....I said do you realize how slow this thing is?? Did not matter....

Girls are alwayz easier to insure than guys, and we all know why, they're generally not nearly as stupid behind the wheel as we are.

Come to think of it, if insurance wasn't so high in Australia, half of the younger generation would be wrapped around a pole, coz they'd all be buying Skyline's other high performance imports for the same price as an EK Civic.

I agree....They said that is is one of the cars that they will not insure. They would insure it if I was already with them and happend to buy it at a later date.
