GEtting rx7 13T to run 10's?

hey,

dont own a rotary, but i know they are a very light car, and have great potential.

My question is basically just to know how much money, time, and stuffing around would it be to get a 13bt to run 10's. How much power would be needed.

From my understanding most important things apart from the mechanical side of things would be, a good set of slicks, top suspension, good clutch, and good diff ratios.

So what sort of things can be done to get a 13bt pushing out the big numbers. I know with piston engines it comes a shitload once you start opening up the bottom end, and placing forged pistons, corrilla rods, and all the rest of it.

But seeing as rotary's dont have pistons, is it just a maater of crak testing the block, chemically cleaning it, and then giving it a port, and then bolting up a big turbo such as a t66 or gt35 or something along those lines.

pretty much intersted in peoples experience with 10 secon rotary's, cost, good and bad, and how reliable they are.

thanks

I did 11.2 and my friend did 10.2.
Both 13BT's. Just ported and dowelled the block, thats it. Both engines were from FC's.
Standard gearboxes etc. I just hi-flowed my turbo. 330RWHP
And all my friend did was put on a GT3540 and he had 500RWHP. Aint that hard in a rota. These times were with slicks tho.
