I was planning on swapping a H22 in a 93 Honda civic HB.
But some people say the engine is too heavy for the front Suspension. Do you think it is possible to drop a Prelude Suspension in the front so it could take the weight of the Engine. |

It's not the weight that's the problem. It's the weight distribution. The Civic chassis was not designed for the way the H22 is mounted. The H22 isn't much heavier than a B series. The suspension won't help.

Not true ive seen many of hatchbacks with the h22 in my town. It just a matter of building it right. The motor bearly fits in the bay is defidently a tight squeeze. And as for the suspension you jus tneed to build it strong before you put the motor in. By building im saying you need springs shockc struts struct bars, all that so you can keep the motor from swaying your car when your whiping around those courtry roads at 100 mph heheheh. It will defidently fit and work you just need to make sure all is tight and secure and strong before you go out cruizin.
