i think the best thing to do when installing altezza's is to paint the center section black... and just put the altezza's on the outside.. i think it looks sooo much better.. give it a try, if ou dont like it, put the altezza center in

if it's the same as sedan model tailights...the same basic design...theres a plastic bracket peice that you have to push together to pull out...like a butterfly clip kinda....it's behind the braces in the trunk/hatch.....it's kinda hard to see but feel under the very middle..it should be there...it should pop out then...if not just yank it out.....u dont really need it since the lights bolted in anyway...

yeah the clip in the middle is a bitch...

the best way to install altezzas? jump on the box with the altezzas until they are thuroughly destroyed, then enjoy your stock lights

hehe j/k, whatever floats your boat...

Thats a pretty good idea, although I would wire them up with about 6 extra feet of wire spliced in so they could drag on the road behind me, and then see how many pedestrians I could take out with them by flying around corners....and about the center section I would definately just leave the stock one in, unless it is very bad shape......none of the clear center sections I have seen looked good at all, but if you like it change it.....I think its just a couple clips like the other guys said.

Once you know how to install them they will be pretty easy to take off again once everyone calls you a ricer for having them.

Holy shit,

Lets not bash the ricer *cough*, i mean tuner guys.....

Just kidding, but you guys read my mind thoroughly....The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the subject heading, was something like:

Smash them with a BFH (big fucking hammer), and then put your stock tails back where they belong.

HAHAAHAHA.....

Honestly, I think you should leave the stock center section in. The altezza center on all 4g's is hideous. The whole thing might look ok if you paint the altezzas translucent red, to match the center section...just a thought...

There was no hating going on, I dunno what thread your looking at. I was merely joking around. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences, and after all....it is HIS car.

The hatch is a bitch to get the center off without breaking at least 1 or 2 of the plastic clips underneath. I dunno if the 4 door is the same way
