How to make exhaust quieter:
Buy a cherrybomb muffler!! Yea its Ghetto, but it does the job, it gets rid of the raspyness and loudness of my exhaust, no more popping too. I used this muffler to replace my old tired resonator.

yep. Everybody always comments on how my exhaust sounds... you'd think that with 2.5" pipe it would be rather loud and raspy, but it actually has a very deep bassy tone to it with hardly any raspiness. I attribute it to my very large "resonator" glasspack i had welded back in once my muffler went to crap. without the resonator, it sounded like ass :S.
I bought a cheap muffin shooter muffler from ebay (5zigen fireball style), and after a couple months, the inner glasspack tube broke loose from the muffler inlet inside the muffler, well i got pissed at it rattling around so i just ripped all the internals out of it. Now i have this huge open muffler cannister as my "muffler". It looks kind of funny, kind of like a 12" long tip, but it works as a resonator chamber and gives the exhaust a very low tone. I think it sounds awesome. but yes, great tip. resonators are your friend |
