1988 honda accord dx
i saw this ad in the paper today:
1988 Honda Accord DX. 2dr coupe, runs, drivers, needs some work, parts car included. $650 obo. my dad is a mechanic and has about any part you would need to work on ford or gm.......i was wondering if there are any other tools i would need to work on this? i heard this engine has a carb........how reliable is it? please post anything useful. |

You shouldnt need any special tools besides what your pops has already. Carbs are decent but can be expensive to rebuild.

right now i just need a car that i can drive to school. the only things i can afford would be this, or a celebrity or beretta and i'd much rather have this. i'm betting the parts car probably has a tranny out or something otherwise i will use that as a racer.

That seems pretty damn cheap. Is that why they didn't say how many miles were on it?? There has gotta be over 200k on that bitch...
