Light Bulbs??Need Help!!

Ok I have a 1999 Honda Accord and I had some blue light bulbs and they seem pretty bright but after age they started dimming from use. So I bought some new ones and I did not like the brightness. So someone suggested some Silver Star Sylvania which are decent but I notice my headlights are still alot dimmer than other cars on the road. I see cars older than mine with bright lights... Could it be I because I replaced the OEM Headlights with Clear ones? Or is my wiring gone bad because of my first set of lightbulbs were 100watts? Or is it because my car is lowered? Can somebody help please it is driving me crazy!@##$

Did you upgrade the wiring when you put those 100w's in? It's suggested to do that..because the OEM wiring is not meant to withstand that much wattage. It's very much possible that is the reason. I bought some 100w's to put on my CRX a while ago...but before I put them in, I voted against it, and took them back, and got some "super brite white" bulbs or something...so I didn't have any worries about my wiring..

Your headlight aim will be slightly off after lowering, but this dont not make them dimmer.

Check the wiring near the headlight, look for melted wires or connectors.

If you want brighter headlights go with a REAL HID kit, the replacement bulbs are a waste if you ask me, the HID kit is too . . . .just my 2 cent
