Question Prep work for paint job

I have a 66 Mustang that I've been trying to get ready for a new paint job. The interior has been removed with the exception of the headliner and dash wiring. My question is; should I put in the new headliner and weatherstripping around the doors windows and trunk before sending it to be painted? What other prep work would you guys suggest

To add to the debate, I will be getting an 05 Stang when they come out next year. I like the new style

Def do not put new weatherstripping or headliner before painting. That will save u money at the bodyshop. Also the more prep work you do the more $$$ you save.

Agreed! Anything you can do now to make the paint process go as smooth as possible will save you money.

I also agree, weatherstripping later, it works much better, no mess on your brand new weatherstripping.

Thanks for the info guys. Luckily I haven't done either yet. Do you have any good websites that may have a checklist and/or instructionals on what to prep beforehand?
