My friend was looking for a Blazer, and he came across one with 268k miles on it... I think he took it for a test drive and it didn't run so great...
My car has 104k. Not so bad for a 37 year old car. |

A frind of mine's dad just sold his meticulously maintaines 1983 Porsche 944 with 450,000 miles on it. Sure, just about everything on it has been replaced at some point, but it's still the original chassis and engine. The guy who bought it was the mechanic who maintained it. Having owned 2 944's myself (traded one in with 170k, still have one with 179k and a blown engine), I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see the car.

Re: Who has the most miles
That red car is a Volvo P1800. He doesn't have 9,000,000 miles, but it does in fact have over 1,000,000 miles on the original engine, which is pretty damn impressive.

Re: Re: Who has the most miles
That's Irv Gordon's Volvo. It has about 2,000,000 miles now (there's a few Volvo related sites out there with Irvmeters that track his current mileage). He rebuilt it at 400,000 miles because he didn't like what he heard as I recall. Other than that it is still stock and running on the same engine for ever. I last saw it a few years ago in Boston. It's in great shape yet at the same time you could see it is lived in daily as Irv drives a lot!
Thanks. -rollie [email protected] Quote:
