Thumbs up New CRX! 2004-5

After many years off the market and many attempts to make something to replace it ,HONDA has decided to put out a new CRX! They plan to power the base model with the same engine as the Insite(slow..slow...slow but hey you can laugh at everyone else who stops three times as much to get gas right?) and the Si model is going to have a 1.6 DOHC K series engine. Not bad seeing as how the car will ring in right around where the first crx's came in and is at the same HP level as the Mini. All I can say is ..ITS ABOUT TIME!

I have read about this already, no new news. It sounds like the 1.6L six speed manual would be very deadly in the import scene. However, I cannot say I like the look...I'm to attached to the old school rexes, what can I say?

This'l be interesting. I was thinking the other day, why don't they use the Civic SiR (In Canada) chassis, & change around the body.
As aforementioned, use a weaker engine (ie. the 1.6L) and tramp the amenities.

my first car was a 88 crx hf, and even though it only had 60 hp i didnt mind due to the fact it got great gas milage, now i like the looks of this "new" crx but i dont know about there selections of engines? unless they get really good gas milage, i just dont know. also i like the pics on the one in that magazine, but the pic civiccoupe posted did look alot like a insight, not a fan.
