What do I need to turbo and what are my limits?

Well here's the deal, I want to know what I need to run a turbo setup on my 95 del sol si, I've been doing alot of research on the subject and have decided to go with a custom setup (sorry don't have 2.5-3G's just laying around to spend on a kit) anyway I need to know the basics more for A:F tuning and also how much boost I can run safely on stock internals (don't want to run with the big boys, just against my buddies' integs and ludes) Anyway I need to find out which is the best FMU (such as an apexi S-AFC, keeping in my mind I don't want to go with hondata, also I need to know if I need any modification to my MAF?( or MAP? )sensor after installing the right FMU, also need to know what is a good way of ignition retarding. Anyway I guess basicaly I am just looking for what kind of troubles I might run into (inadequate pump flow, fuel injector problems, and so on...) also if anybody has personal experience turboing thier d16z please feel free to share, I'm always open to ideas.

THE WHOLE GOAL IS NOT TO END UP ON THE BLOWN MOTORS SECTION ON [url=http://www.homemadeturbo.com]

5-8 psi max on stock internals 10 psi is pushing it..
yes get a s-afc
you need all the turbo stuff(turbo, exhaust mainfold,i\c piping, b.o.v. fmic..ect.) i would sugets to do your fuel sys. get ahi-flow fuel pump and maybe some 450cc injectors. get new plugs and wires. with a turbo you also need to run a oil line to your turbo that means drill and making connections in your oil pan.. i say go get the kit itz alot easier and less chance of screwing up your car..

good luck
