Question 996 TT Engine Failures

Am considering a '01, '02 996 TT. Have heard some talk about engine failures/factory replacements. How widespread are these problems ? Are they happening more frequently with '01s or '02s ? If anyone has had an engine replaced, how were you treated by PCNA ? Thanks to all for any input on this issue....

I don't know of any Turbo owners who have experienced any engine failures with the past couple of years.

Re: 996 TT Engine Failures

stay away from the 2001 model porsche turbos. Try the 02 or even better the 03. You will just see more and more problems from 01 turbos.
