People have and will pay you to take it on the strip. There have been no runs on the quarter mile with the new motor. Not only is this car beautiful but it performs very well.
so there have been no runs with the motor thats in it now, but they claim it performs very well...

I Smell A Kit Car

Considering Lamborghini (countash and diablo) engines are rear mounted.
that looks like a countash, and i'm pretty sure it's rear mounted.

There's no way that's a legitimate car.

Are you all blind or just ignorant?

That car is a 'Funny Car', built solely for drag racing. Underneath the body you will find a bespoke chassis, usually powered by a large cubed V8 of American origin. The body on these cars is 'loosely' based on a production car of some description - in this case a Lamborghini Countach.

Apart from the body, which is only a lookalike, there will be no other Lamborghini parts to be found on this car.

And to think that drag racing originated in the States.

Scarecrow, thanks for clearing that up for us ignorant Americans. To be honest I think the only one here that is confused is you!! I think most people who frequent this board are pretty much aware that this car is no more than a shell bolted on a chasis used for drag racing. It is obvious to all of us that this is now a front engine car and not an mid engine car with most likely a blown V8. This car is as much a Lambo as is my Nissan.

Take it easy, we are all on the same page of thought on this one.

If you own a 300ZX then your lights are the same as on the late model Diablos
