I know you can tell the name of your engine from the VIN, but I'm not sure how. Can anybody tell me.

My VIN starts with WM, so my engine is named William. Your VIN probably starts with a number and a letter, like 1H, so your engine is probably named Henry, Harry, or Hu-Xuan, depending on what the number is.

My engine is name Barbara, and altough she claims to be 10, I know shes actualy 14, but she's deffinitly and A class student all the way!
On Honda engines there is normaly a number and leter combinationed stamped above the engine number, this is the engine type. On other cars, Nissan for example, the engine type is the first 3-4 numbers and letters from the engine number, and sometimes the chassis number.
