yay, freedom.

i had my last exam today, so now i am free to start my enzo and lotus 7 kits.

except i need to get to a shop where i can get my paints, airbrush, pin vise and spare blades for my knife. i have the names of a few shops i can go, but there aint nothing close to where i live for modeling.

so just to warn you guys, i will be doing progress threads in the next few weeks, and they will be detailed. also i would like to make a request. because these are my first models (well except the one that i did when i was 13, but that doesn't really count) i really have little idea what to do. i have been floating around this forum for a few months now as some of you know, and i have picked up a lot of tips. but what i really need is constructive critism when i start my kits. this is an open invitation to pick up on every little detail that i have done wrong, bad...or just plain shit.
have fun...

Make sure you have a gander at the 2 really good progress threads on the Enzo. One's by Pman, and the other, I don't remember who it was by, but it adds some things Pman left out. Very well done, both of them.

Best thing to do is build a couple of cheap kits out of the box to hone your basic skills before you tear into your favorite kits, it will pay off to do this. You will learn something on each kit you build, so why start with the good ones?

id love to, but i have 3 months before my freedom is terminated, so iv decided to jump straight in. hopefully with what iv learned from the site so far, and with a little help from you guys ( and of course patience) i should be ok.

i have a few derelict die-casts that im going to practice airbrushing and detailing on before i touch my kits. ill post them too
