B16A parts compatible with a B16B engine?

I went to a Honda dealership to order some new parts for my ctr engine but they don't really sell them, and the guy there was pretty clueless. I bought a distributor cap and rotor, and valve cover gasket for an 00 Si, will they fit the ctr?

differences in OBD versions mean differences in some things, like distributors for instance. I belive you can interchange the distributor itself, but things like the cap are differnt. you might want to look into it.

oh... well, learn something new every day.
Hey what kind of intake can I install on the B16B? I went to the shop and they said Si intakes are different, something about the tb being a few inches higher than a CTR tb... Bomber, I see in your sig it says aem cai. Did you have to customize it or anything or was the shop I talked to ignorant?

Just get the one thats made for your car. It'll fit fine. Some ppl get the AEM or INJEN intake for type r cause its 3 inch in diameter.

A lot of the websites don't have them, they only have the Si intakes. Got any links?

Try your local perf. shop to see if they can order some for you. If you can't find it just get one thats made for your civic.
