Civic Timing URGENT
Hey
My friend's Civic is fucked....We cus-fabbed some spark plug wires, and like dumbasses, they are all the same length and we don't know what order they go in? Can someone please tell me which cylinder is 1, 2, 3, 4, and where they go on the distributor? The Civic is a 95 EX (d16z6). Before asking this, we thought we had them on right. But the car would have trouble starting, and when it ran, you could not stab the throttle at all, or it would bog and nearly die. Now it barely starts, and we don't know what to do. We have new aftermarket wires on the way, but we still need to know which order to put the current ones on so it can be driven. Also, after the car would die, a huge amount of air would rush out of the intake, being a weird burping noise. Could this mean bent valves or something bad, or is it just fucked up timing? If anyone can help, it would be very appreciated.

I just ran outside and looked at my '94
on the distributor starting from the top going in a clock wise direction... 2-1-3-4 assuming that 1 is the plug closest to the distributor, 2 is the next closest, etc... hope this helps... that whoosh out of the intake means that one of your cylinders was firing with the intake valve open and it was backfiring through the intake... I wouldn't worry too much about that just get the wires or right and go, should be ok
