Need help my crx won't start at all, its not the battery.

its started a while back. If i recall correctly, I would crank make the noiseas far as cranking but never turned on and it did this at different times for a month or two, but towards the end i would turn the key and it never cranked or made a noise and usually after a few minutes it would finally start until one day boom doesn't start regarless i was going to try jump start it to see if it will run . I know the battery is good and fuses are all good inside and under the hood . is it the starter or ignition or something else?

starter is the first thing to check if you know your battery is good and fully charged, after that double check the fuses and wires to everything.

relays? you mean the bigger fuses that are like a box looking thing inside the fuse box under the hood? where is the starter located on the car? anyway to make sure is the starter and not the ignition or vice versa?

Hit the starter a couple times with a bar or something.

No idea

Clean swap, how hard was it and what other parts did you need. Planning on doing the same thing but with a built enigne and 100 shot for fun.

not meaning to steal the original thread,

but the installation was very easy, i used HCP mounts, it bolted right in. since i already had converted to MPFI and the engine is OBD0 B18A1, 95% of the wiring was the same. i had to extend a couple sensor wires, that was it. the axles were directly bolted in to my DX hubs, so no changing there, however i had to remove a small metal dust ring on the inside of the hub or it made the axles bind.

parts i needed were mount kit, motor, ecu, tranny, i welded my own shift linkages to save some money, and then various sensors that were broken or needed replacing. plus i did basic overhaul shit like plugs, plug wires, distributor cap things like that.

That is what i like to hear. I rode in my friends 5 gen hatch with a b18a and my friends crx with a GSR and there was something about the b18a that i liked.
