Should I??

My buddy ive known forever wants to race me with his 1995 eclipse gst. all he has a full exhaust system and my mods are listed below. Can I take him out. also its for $350

Do it he has FWD and you have RWD you have more mods.. i think you would win

but honeslty i think it would come down to the driver... are you the better driver?

You should win, cuz (if I'm not mistaken) your car is lighter. It's not that you have more mods, it's that your mods increase your performance more than his mods increase his performance. But I will say this, be careful, cuz those eclipses are very fast. My friend only has the GS model, with intake and exhaust and he's runnin pretty fast. Don't know about 1/4 mile times, don't think he's tested it, but he's also a really good driver. The eclipse you're racing has turbo, of course you already knew that. Good luck.

i think even stock vs stock with exactly = drivers the mr2 turbo would take the eclipse gs-t. And you have more mods than him. So if your confident in your driving skills....do it.
