I would place money on the ignitor. A code gets sent to the computer by the ignitor because the comp controls it. The ingtion coil is controlled by the ignitor so a code won't get sent. When my ignitor went out, it sent a code but when by coil went out it didn't.

By the way, go to honda and have them pull the service bulletin for the ignitor. Don't know if yours was done buty i belive if it wasn't, the ignitor should be black. The ones honda replaced them with were brown.

the igniter is brown, or the one i pulled was brown, and even my stock d15 igniter was brown.

heres the curious part, so i tried to start it using the stock integra igniter but it didnt work, so i pulled it and stuck my civic igniter in there and it still didnt work. thats why im kinda thinking its not the igniter but the symptoms point to an ignitor. im at a lost here.

oh and heres the thing, it did work the first time i tired to start it, the coil was going and everything. but one time it just stopped working
