Question hydrolock? knocking?

ok so today, I drove throught a puddle and my car stalled.... my cai was submerged, I took the plugs out and the intake off and dried all the water out of the cyclinders and the throttlebody. now my car starts but it knocks like crazy..... you think i fucked up this time? whats this sound like?

Check to make sure you got the right plug wires on the right plugs. Clean any of the electronics in the induction side of the engine, like the Mass air sensor ect.....

how does ur cai get submerged? on my car theres a fat ass flap in the way, practically the whole car would have to be underwater for the cai to be submerged...

i have an after market bumber and the brush guards are partial letting the intake open for water...... and the plug wires are all good, sensors are in the right place... sounds mabey like something on top of the cylinder head?

iF you got that kind of water in the engine you need to change your oil, dont want to leave any water in there. After that let it run for a little bit and see if it doesnt clear up.

yeah, i thought about that too, i took the valve cover off and couldnt see much of a water mixer but still good idea....

yeah it does, just gets faster as i rev..... not nesessarily louder though

Since its not gettin louder i am totally stumped. I would think it would have something to do with your sensory setup. If it was getting louder then i would be somewhere but i couldnt say now.
